Saitama Area Guide

Introduction

Saitama is mainly used as a commuter town for Tokyo city, it’s near enough for good access and there is also cheaper and larger properties available. Located North of Tokyo on the opposite bank of the Arakawa river there are many lakes, mountains and national parks.

There is the home ground of football teams Urawa Red Diamonds and AS Elfen Sayama FC which are famous in Japan. The Saitama Super Area contains the John Lennon museum hosts K-1 and many music concerts and sports events, it is also famous for the Manga Crayon Shin-chan’s stage.

Living in Saitama

Living around Saitama, especially the south area of Kawaguchi, Urawa, Omiya is very convenient for work and also has easy access to Tokyo with direct links to Ikebukuro and Shinjuku.
